Kelly and Sheree Danaher cancer journey

Our parents and grandparents are facing an uphill battle with both an ongoing and new cancer battle.  Our mom Sheree was diagnosed with breast cancer in May of 2014 and through a double mastectomy and long bouts of chemo she was cancer free for a year and a half until it returned in 2018.  She then has faced more surgery and radiation and is still undergoing chemo through the end of the year.  In August of 2020 Kelly was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in his left lung that has metastasized to areas in his body such as his foot, hip, shoulder, and back. He underwent surgery on September 9 to stabilize his hip and is currently living at Madonna Rehab in Omaha and undergoing radiation to treat the cancer locations.   He is scheduled to undergo Immunotherapy treatment following these next few weeks of radiation.  Both Kelly and Sheree have not been able to work because of the recent diagnosis so this money will assist them in paying basic bills, travel expenses back and forth from Lincoln to Omaha, and will also help to renovate their basement to put in a shower and chair lift so Kelly can move about the house with his limited mobility when he returns from Madonna. Any assistance is greatly appreciated and if you can’t donate we ask for your prayers for strength and healing for our parents and grandparents as they walk this road and face whatever comes next.
