Hello Friends,
We are all looking for a way to help ease the heartbreaking loss being experienced by Kelly Eyler, her 3 boys: Silas (14), Eben (12), and Maxy (10), and Jason’s parents and sister.
Jason fell ill over the weekend with Strep throat, which unexpectedly turned for the worse and kicked off toxic shock in his system. After 2 days of fighting courageously on life support, his body sadly succumbed to the illness. This has been a sudden and wrenching experience for Jason’s family, leaving a huge hole in their hearts and lives. Frankly, a huge hole in the life of anyone who knew him. Jason was genuine, sweet, smart, happy, and soulful. Many of us were lucky enough to witness Jason in his role as a father and husband - roles he played with deep joy and commitment. Silas, Eben, and Maxy had a world-class dad. And we all had a world-class friend and colleague. Jason left us way too early.
The last thing Kelly and the boys should be stressed about in the weeks and months to come are hospital bills or finances. So we are asking that we come together to alleviate that stress.
Please share this link through social channels and directly with folks that you think Jason has touched.
Beyond this, let's commit to “showing up” as a community for Kelly and their boys in the months and years to come. Let's honor Jason’s legacy as a father, husband, brother, son, friend, and colleague. And of course, please keep Kelly, the kids, and Jason’s family in your thoughts and prayers as they move through this.
With love, Jason’s family + friends
