Hi, this fundraiser is to help our friends from the North Beach Taco Stand, Kelly and Eric. On May 21st their sweet baby Caleb was diagnosed with retinoblastoma (cancer of the retina), requiring emergency care in Vancouver. Kelly flew down with him immediately and has spent the last 3 weeks navigating cancer services at BC Children's. Caleb recieved his first dose of intraoccular chemotherapy on May 29 th, and will need multiple additional rounds. Over the coming months, treatment will require regular return trips to BC Children’s Hospital for therapy and monitoring. Donations are greatly appreciated while they navigate this temporary life in the city, loss of income, and the costly expenses of traveling back and forth from Haida Gwaii to access medical care.
