I have been suffering from an eating disorder for over 20 years. I have been in and out of hospitals/treatment since my teens. This Spring, I nearly died before asking for a higher level of care. My insurance is going to drop me soon from the program I am currently in and I would like to remain in the area and continue to see my team. My car also died while I have been in St. Louis, so I will be needing to lease a car as well as find an apartment. I also have hospital and medical bills to pay that never seem to end. My team here is amazing and I feel that they may be able to help me actually desire and feel derserving of a recovery. If I go home to Michigan, I know I will die. I have many logistics to overcome, but I truly want to give myself a chance.
