Kelli’s Electric Wheelchair needs a Van
Kelli has a disease called Bullous Morphea, and several other types of Morphea covering her body. Currently the worst is causing painful blistering on her feet which turn into open ulcers that do not heal, once popped. Kelli is in 10/10++pain, daily. Heavy narcotics do not touch the pain. Walking causes even more pain and additional blisters. Kelli is currently living in an assisted living facility, away from her family, as that is literally the only way she can get her daily needs met as it is not possible for her to do her self care at this time. She greatly misses her freedom, and the privilege of caring for her family. Kelli is desperate to find a vehicle that will carry her power wheelchair to give her the ability to have freedom to be with her family more often, to be able to take herself to appointments, and not have to wait for community vans. Ultimately to be social and relational as Kelli needs to be for her emotional health as well. Kelli is really looking forward to being mobile again and would absolutely go back to working if she could. This is just an awesome season to pray for a miracle- and/or be the miracle she needs. I’m sharing my best friend, she can use all the love she can get.

For all of you who KNOW me. You KNOW my Kelli. That means, you know God gifted my boys, my extended family and I with Mama Kelli and Lexi, in 2005. Not everyone gets a best friend, especially one like Kelli. Even though we live over 1,000 miles apart we have been as close as ever.
