Imagine you have it all... A loving husband, beautiful children, life long friends, a career that is fulfilling and involves helping people every day.
You have such an incredible love of life, self and community.
You have plans for the future; travel, watching your daughters grow, retiring and growing old with the love of your life.
Imagine all that changes in a single word, "cancer".
Now you are in a battle for tomorrow, next month, next year, next five years. Every day counts.
That is what happened to our best friend Kellie. Kellie has been diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, Cholangiocarcinoma. There are fewer than 20,000 cases of this cancer in the US per year. It is a particularly tough cancer to fight because it goes mostly undetectable until it has metastasized to other parts of the body and at that point is categorized as a stage IV cancer.
Our girl Kellie is a fighter!The strongest woman we know. And we know if anyone can give this cancer Hell, it is her! And if any thing can bring upon a miracle, it is all the love and prayers from all the people that Kellie has touched in their lives.
But we want her to focus not just on the battle ahead, but also on the life she is living every day and every moment. We want her to focus on building incredible memories with her daughters, Jessica and Jennifer, and husband, Tom. That is why we are raising funds for her and her family. To give them the financial assistance they need in order to not be concerned about bills, but instead to concentrate on their time together. A time to build those memories!!!
It was always Kellie's wish to one day travel to Italy with her family, I say we make that wish a reality. A reality in the very near future before the harsh effects of chemo wear on her strength and wellness.
Please help us fulfill Kellie's wish as well as support the whole beautiful Knight family in this challenging time by helping them build memories of a life time.
