We are heartbroken to share that our dear friend and colleague, Kellie Wilburn, a school counselor at Eastmoor Academy High School, is facing an unthinkable tragedy. Kellie's beloved son was taken from this world in an act of violence.

As she processes this devastating loss, Kellie is left to navigate not only profound grief but also the immediate challenges of rebuilding her life from the ground up. She is now in need of support to cover funeral expenses, replace essential belongings, food and clothing in the wake of this trauma.

Kellie has spent her career helping her Eastmoor High School students navigate their own hardships with compassion and strength. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her. We are asking our counseling community to come together and help raise $4,000 by June 15, 2025, to provide Kellie with some peace of mind during this incredibly painful time.
