Kelli's Dominican Republic Trip
Tax deductible
As part of my nursing school program I will be embarking on a trip to the Dominican Republic in January 2017 to deliver healthcare to patients with limited access to modern health services. As a nursing student/volunteer, I am hoping to raise at least $2,000 for Partners for Rural Health, a Maine-based non-profit organization that has been changing lives for the better in the Dominican Republic since 1995. Twice a year, nursing students are sent to the DR to provide primary care, treat chronic illnesses, distribute medications and first aid supplies, and offer health education to over 1,500 patients in 20 rural villages.
Your donation will go directly towards paying for medications and medical supplies and it will also support me on my journey to becoming a nurse. I would be so grateful for any contribution you are able to make. Big or small, it makes a difference!
