Kelli Lynn Loura Memorial Fund

In memory of Kelli Lynn Loura, I write this with a heavy heart. On Monday, April 23, 2019, Kim Loura received a heart breaking phone call that will forever change the lives of her and her family as well as the lives of friends that knew Kelli. Kim was notified by her father that her little sister had passed away. Kelli was her baby sister who she worried about and mothered after the passing of their mother when Kelli was 15 years old. Words can't express the anguish and pain that Kim is enduring along with their father Daniel. He is an amazing father to Kim and Kelli. Both Kim and Daniel have tried so hard for many years to give Kelli the life she truly deserved.  Unfortunately, I have never had the chance to meet Kelli due to her life struggles. However, this week between gathering her belongings and spending time with Kim at Kelli's apartment, I can tell you one thing about her. Kelli was a beautiful person with an amazing heart who constantly tried to seek recovery and escape the demons of addiction. Her apartment consisted of the Lord's prayer, daily affirmations, poems she wrote, inspirational quotes, and journals that she wrote in daily. It is heartbreaking thinking about how much she suffered through the lonely world of addiction. She wanted to get better, she truly did.  At this time, I am asking those of you who are near and dear to Kelli, Kim, Daniel, and myself to help in raising money to give Kelli the proper service that she deserves. This was very unexpected. The Loura family had such high hopes for Kelli's recovery. No parent should have to bury their own child. Kelli was loved my many and had an infectious smile that anyone who knew her will never forget. We will be forever grateful for your contribution.
