Hello Friends, many of you know while others may not be aware that our dear friend, Kelli Abshear has been diagnosed with an aggressive, rare type of cancer called synovial sarcoma. As a result, Kelli had her right lung removed on March 1, 2024. Her treatment plans included recovery from surgery and then follow up with oncology for possible chemotherapy and radiation. She was released to recover at home on Thursday, March 7th. Unfortunately, she returned to the hospital via ambulance on March 10th due to shortness of breath. Currently Kelli is admitted in Indianapolis with extensive pneumonia in her remaining lung. We have started this go fund me to help Kelli's family with travel, food, lodging and hospital expenses while they travel to support her on this journey.
