I'm a friend of Kelly and Eric Cassel, trying to help them in a much-needed time to lay Kelly to rest. Kelly was born on September 2, 1979, and was in a tragic car accident on Wednesday, March 26, 2026, leaving behind her husband Eric Cassel, 3 children: Katelyn Carben, William Quinn, and Abby Cassel, and her mother Josephine Smith, along with nieces and nephews. Kelly was a caregiver as her occupation. She had a kind heart and was a very loving person. She loved her family with her whole heart.

The family doesn't have life insurance or any savings set aside for funeral expenses and providing support to the children and family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. Any support, whether through a donation or sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much to Eric, their children, and her mother. Funeral services will be Tuesday March 31 from 11:00 am till 3:00 pm service starts at 3:00 pm in the chapel at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial services will be held after at Hopeweill Cemetery in Pocahontas Community.
