Kelley’s Continued Cancer Journey

2024 was a hard year, full of back to back cancer diagnosis and multiple surgeries, followed by 6 1/2 weeks of radiation.

Right after Christmas, we got the bad news the radiation did not work and the cancer has returned to my neck. This will require an immediate, unexpected major surgery for both removal and involving other areas of the body for tissue transfer and skin grafting for closure. I am the last person to ever ask for help but due to the complexity of this surgery, I will need a large chunk of time off from work for healing and recovery. Unfortunately bills, both medical and everyday expenses, do not get a time-out because I personally need one.
