On September 4, 2016, Kelley was in a head-on collision with a drunk driver.   Kelley suffered neurological injuries, burns, and other multiple extensive injuries.  She was in a coma for over a month and has gone through over 23 surgical procedures to date. 

Kelley has made remarkable progress, but still has a long recovery period ahead of her.  Kelley's continued rehabilitation and wound treatment requires medical equipment , procedures and supplies that are not covered by insurance.  Contributions to Kelley's medical fund will greatly assist with the mounting out-of-pocket medical expenses as she continues her journey of rehabilitation and recovery.
