KELLEY RAY - CANCER

This is our fabulous Kelley Ray, living in Madison Heights, Michigan. She is a single mother with a beautiful daughter, Emma, and the office manager at Progressive Plumbing Supply Co. (Locations in Warren, Detroit, Oxford and Mt. Clemens, is better known as Jock & Meldrum). She has had a rough several years. Five years ago, she lost her job of 17 years and subsequently lost her house. Kelley and her then 12-year-old daughter Emma, had to move out of state to live with Kelley’s father and step mother for financial reasons. Soon after moving, Kelley suffered from a life-threatening brain aneurism. After recovering from this illness, Kelley and Emma returned to Michigan. Thankfully for everyone at Progressive Plumbing Supply, Kelley found her way to the office managers position. Not long after, Kelley’s daughter Emma, at age 15, developed depression issues. After hard work at therapy and much determination, Emma is now doing great and attending her first year of college.  But as all mothers do, Kelley still worries. A few months back Kelley had to have a spot of skin cancer removed. She will need to stay diligent having any suspicious spots checked. Just when Kelley thought she could breath and relax she found out she has colorectal cancer. She is in the process of receiving continuous 24/7 chemo therapy and 30 radiation treatments. When they are completed, she will need surgery to remove the tumor and then another corrective surgery. Through all of this she has always tried to keep her positive attitude. She tries not to miss work as much as possible. Kelley has a $6,000.00 per year deductible on her health insurance. She will need to pay the $6,000.00 deductible for 2019 and then again for 2020. We want her to put aside her financial worries so she can concentrate on her treatment and recovery.  If you can contribute even a little, it will be very appreciated.  Thank you and God bless.
