January 23, Keli's cardiac nightmare started as she was in Joe DiMaggio ER in critical condition. She had a cardiac arrhythmia caused by an extremely low potassium level. She was stabilized and sent home to recover. The doctors said the arrhythmia would go away once her potassium level was normal.
January 27th, back in the ER, her potassium level normal, but the arrhythmia remained. The doctors referred her to a cardiac electrophysiologist whom she saw and she is wearing a 24-hour cardiac monitor for 2 weeks.
We were initially told the arrhythmia would go away once her potassium level was normal. It has not gone away and she is frequently symptomatic, however, she continues to push forward as she faces each new challenge.
Fast forward to why I am starting this GoFundMe.
Her theater troope is going to state in Tampa from March 18th-23rd. Due to her cardiac arrhythmia and her frequent symptoms, the troope director cannot take her unless I go. The hotel is $1700, the entrance fees are $300, and the train is $200. The cost is more than I make a month and there is no time to save up. I have paid Keli's fees, they are nonrefundable.
Keli has been excited about this for months and since she graduates in a couple of months, this is the final time she will have this opportunity. Please help me make this happen for her. Thank you!!!
