Kela's New Hip Fund

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read about me. Most of you know my story but for those who dont I'm going to take the time to share it and explain why I'm here at Go Fund Me and why I need your help.
When I was 22 I went to the doctor becuase of a mild pain that I had in my knee. At the time the doctor. did a complete set of X-rays and discovered there was some inflammation in my knee but she also saw an abnormality in my hip. She gave me some anti-inflammatories and sent me on my way. It didnt bother me for a very long time. When I turned 27 I decided to enter in the Danskin Triathlon. I trained and as I trained my knee pain got worse. After the Danskin I had my first knee scope. That was in 2005. In 2007 I had a second knee scope. After the second knee scope I physically got progressively worse. The doctor told me my joints in the right side of my body in my lower back, hip, and knee were degenerating. This all because of the abnormality in my hip. As the knee pain increased so did my hip pain. The only true relief I felt was in 2007 when I was pregnant but that was short lived because rather than knee and hip pain I had Sciatica as most pregnant women do. After the birth of my daughter the pain started again. I've spent countless hours at the office of my Orthopedic Surgeon who finally said "Kela you need a hip replacement. There's nothing else we can do, but I want you to wait as long as you can or until it affects quality of life." Dr. Garcia was right on the money when he said it would have to be replaced  and that it would in fact affect my quality of life. Now at the age of  37 I have to use a cane most days to get around. If Im not using it I'm having a good day but those days are few and far between. Sometimes Im just being stubborn and tired of having to use it. This entire ordeal has been humbling to say the least. I'm also a single parent who's working 2 jobs right now and struggling to stay afloat. I've been putting this surgery off because the Dr.  kept telling me I was too young, but now my body has given me no choice. I just want to say that I dont want anyone to give anything they cant but I do need your help and anything you can give would be greatly appreciated! Restoring my quality of life and moving in the direction of finally being pain free and able to walk and function as a normal person for the first time in 10 years and more than all of this being able to function and play, walk, and run with my baby girl! So again if youre able anything will help ensure that I have this surgery on November 25th so I can start my road to recovery.
