Kel-Asia Needs a Safe Home to Heal

Donation protected
My name is Kel-Asia Chamblee. I am a graduate from Clark Atlanta University, class of 2021.

This year has been one of the most challenging years of my life. I have an autoimmune disease and I contracted whooping cough from my job where I worked as a server. It took doctors a while to figure out what was going on. By the time they did, I had developed bronchitis and pneumonia with whooping cough. I began to miss a lot of work and had multiple hospital stays as a result.

Last month, November, things got worse for me as I was told I had a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst that ruptured and bled into a hernia in my stomach that I had developed from whooping cough's episodes of coughing spasms, incontinence, and syncope episodes.

Right now, I have lost everything - my housing, work, and any way to make a stable income. I've been living in my car and homeless since around December 19th. I'm asking for donations to help me get a place to stay and take care of medical necessities so that I can get better and back to work.

I need a roof over my head to do that. Anything you can help with would be great.
