Keke's Dog Attack

Donation protected

Hi everybody, my name is Derek. I am creating this page for those who are able to help Keke recover from a vicious dog attack.

On the morning of August 19th, Keke was attacked by a 140 pound dog in San Diego, CA. Keke spent the entire day and part of the night in the ER. She has multiple large wounds throughout the front of her body that received stitches. She had two metal rods/drains inserted into her front right leg with pumps attached to them to pump out blood daily and prevent infection from spreading throughout the leg. The largest wound damaged her right thoracic limb - including the major nerve that functions her entire front leg. With this nerve, the recovery will determine her future - there is a 50/50 chance the leg will either begin to regain mobility over the next couple of weeks or the leg will deteriorate and it won't be able to function any longer, which can lead to a possible amputation of her leg.

As of now she is in a lot of pain and can't move her body. I am taking the best care I can of her and giving her all of the necessary medication available to help her through this. Moving forward, the next step is just sending our thoughts and prayers her way hoping she will heal properly and she will be able to walk again and get back to her happy, energetic self. Keke and I want to thank everybody who reached out and sent their love thus far. As you can imagine, her hospital bill is very expensive beyond this fundraiser, we appreciate any amount of donation you are capable of giving. We love you Keke.
