Keizer’s Fight

Donation protected
Keizer was born at 38 weeks with visible port wine stains and hemangiomas. Since then Keizer has been under continuous care by several specialists at strong memorial hospital. At a month old he had aspiration pneumonia that was due to the syringe feedings needed from lack of ability to suck. Keizer has been diagnosed with Arnold Chiari malformation, hydrocephalus, Obstructive sleep apnea and scoliosis. With all of these he has hemangiomas on his body causing several complications including feeding difficulties. His family had to travel to NYC to get the needed care for Keizer which required an emergency surgery placing a shunt to releade the pressure within his brain. Since then the family has been made aware of his tethered cord syndrome. Within the upcoming months Keizer is going to need several surgeries.  This has caused severe financial strain on the family to care for their 6 children as well as traveling to NYC. Keizers mother Shellee has had to take leave from work which was not expected. They could use any support to keep them floating above water with bills, hotels food and traveling expenses between their home In Westfield Pennsylvania Rochester New York and New York City. His next surgery will be September 9th to correct his tethered cord syndrome. Mid September Keizer was diagnosed with 17q11.2 microdeletion syndrome Along with everything else he has constant appointments which require his brothers to need sitters as well
