Keith’s Motorcycle Accident Recovery Fund

On June 9th 2021 around 11pm a very close friend of ours and single father of one young daughter was involved in a serious motorcycle accident.

On that Wednesday night Keith was riding home with a friend on a back road in Gilford NH. They came around a blind corner and hit debris in the roadway causing Keith to lose control midway through the turn. He lost control and slid into a telephone pole with his motorcycle. Thankfully having a friend with him they quickly rendered aid and contacted emergency services. Keith was immediately transported to Lakes Region General Hospital. There they found severe internal damage and quickly medflighted Keith to Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon NH. There they found extensive damage to his heart, sternum, spleen and liver. They also found fractures in his femur, spine and hip as well as multiple broken ribs. He has now undergone multiple surgeries and corrective procedures and is thankfully, finally in stable condition.

Keith still has a very long recovery road ahead of him. He will be out of work for no less than a year and will need funds to help get by. This money we are trying to raise for him is to cover the back log of medical bills that insurance may not cover, to pay utilities and housing and daily cost of living  during his recovery. (I.E) supplies and clothing for himself and his daughter, groceries, transportation costs to his medical appointments once out of hospital and any other unforeseen expenses.

I would also like to add that this donated money will not be for covering the cost of the motorcycle. His motorcycle that he just bought and is now completely totaled is thankfully fully insured. This fund is specifically and only for the cost of living and medical expenses throughout the next year while he recovers.
