Keith is someone who would do anything for anyone. He is a great Papa, husband, stepdad, dad, grandpa, and friend. He has survived leukemia, a couple heart attacks, and open heart surgery. Last year he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, his options for both quality and quantity of life are LVAD or Transplant. He has been approved for a LVAD the end of September. Since his diagnosis he has been unable to work due to his weakened heart. He had applied for disability at the recommendation of his doctors, but has not yet been approved. He is unsure when or if he will be able to return to work. He will be going downtown Chicago for surgery September 27, 2022. He will be there for up to 3 weeks then in a rehab. During this time his wife Caren will be traveling back and forth, paying for parking, paying for hotel stays and once he is iut they will have medical bills, medicine to buy, supplies to buy, and many appointments to travel to.
