Our dear Keith will be undergoing a life-saving open heart surgery on June 19th. He needs to have part of his aorta replaced and his entire aortic valve replaced with a mechanical one. This is a very invasive surgery that requires months of recovery time.

Keith should be resting and preparing, but instead is left stressing about how he is going to pay his rent and bills while he is unable to work for at least 3 months. He had to pay out of pocket for a dental procedure that was a prerequisite for the heart surgery, which decimated his savings.
