My husband (Keith Jones)
was diagnosed with AML leukemia on 9/24/15. He has completed one round of chemo but has to do another very soon. We have been told that he needs a bone marrow transplant for the greater chance of survival. Since his transplant will be done in Houston, TX and we live in Trinity, AL, we know that there will be many expenses that we are just not prepared for. We will have to live in Houston for at least 3 months. He does have medicare but we still have to pay for 20% and its starting to add up. We also do not have prescription insurance and have to pay for all of his prescriptions out of pocket. We will use this money to help pay for travel expenses so that our kids and I can travel back and forth to be with him and to help pay prescription and medical expenses. His chances of surviving this transplant are not very high so I want our family to be together as much as possible.
Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers during this tragic time. I love my husband with all of my being and can't even imagine what our lives would be like without him. Please help us fight and win against this horrible thing they call cancer.
