On January 7th, 2017, the world lost one of its most brilliant musicians and dedicated educators. Keith Anderson's career spanned over two decades at Hillcrest High School in Country Club Hills IL. During his tenure as music teacher and director of bands at Hillcrest, hundreds, if not thousands of students' lives were forever changed from the love and compassion Keith Anderson showed to each student under his direction. In order to secure the legacy of such a magnificent teacher, mentor, and father, the Keith A.  Anderson Foundation is in the process of being instituted. The goal is to establish a foundation with a viable board of directors, and raise funds for annual scholarship awards to be given to fine arts students from each high school in District 228.  In addition, another initiative is to construct a permanent memorial honoring the life and legacy of Keith Anderson.  In order for these goals to be put into action, a 501c3 non- for- profit status would need to be in place. The goal is $5000.00 to start the process. Please donate and spread the word.
