Help with Keith Whitemore's Final Expenses

Hi, this is Tori, Keith's daughter. If you know my dad then you have probably met me. I am kinda tired and sad so I am going to do the best I can to organize my thoughts.

My dad was an ideas guy and he knew how he wanted everything at the end to be. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way. Dad wanted to pass at home but at the very end dad's symptom management was impossible for my mom to do at home with hospice. Dad was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and spent the last couple of days there, which was probably for the best. He needed heavier medication and around the clock nursing.

I know we didn't count on this happening and the expenses on stuff was already a lot. Everyone keeps asking my family how they can help and well, I guess this is it. Man, I wish we didn't have to do this. Dad set stuff aside for his final expenses but ambulance rides and surprise hospital stays are going to eat into what we set aside for dad's final expenses.

Edit - This was written while I was upset and I realize I left out a couple of things. My dad died on January 20th 2024 and he had been fighting cancer or leukemia off and on since 2011. I was 11 years old when this started so while I was used to dad being sick I still had a hard time imagining him not here. Anyway, send me a message if you have any questions. Once again, thanks.
