We would like to thank everyone for the vast number of heartfelt messages we have received since our Dad’s passing.

The Pipeman, as you knew him, had an infectious personality and unique characteristics which cannot be described. The cricket world has paid tremendous respect and tributes to our Dad, who was clearly well loved and a global cricket icon.

His passion for cricket was enormous, so much so, he had not missed a Test Match at Lord’s Cricket Ground since 1973. Dad was a long-standing MCC member and followed cricket around the world, in particular travelling throughout the West Indies where he became a Super Fan.

Our Dad battled with his health for over 16 years but after being diagnosed with Cancer for the 4th time earlier this year, his fight sadly came to an end on Wednesday 15th May.

Many of you have reached out to offer your condolences and support as well as help to the family.  We have created this page as a platform for you to make any contributions to Dad’s send off.

We are all immensely grateful and thank you all for your continued support and well wishes during this difficult time.

If you would like to get in touch or send any tributes, memories or photos of your time with Dad please do so by emailing [email redacted].
