Our dear husband, father, brother, and teacher, Keith Skogsberg, passed suddenly on December 3rd. As a music educator of 45 years, he leaves behind a legacy and deep impact on countless students and lives. “Skogs” was a selfless, compassionate, and humorous teacher who believed that anyone could learn to sing and shared his love for music and the arts with students and community members across the world. 

To honor his memory and to continue his legacy of impact in music, we are establishing a music scholarship in his name. Funds will be used to provide a yearly scholarship to a student in the local Yelm community who is pursuing a future in music.

Yelm Dollars for Scholars will manage this scholarship, selection, and ongoing disbursement of funds.
