Keith Schemm Memorial Fund

Keith Schemm passed away in a motor vehicle accident on April 7th, 2019. Keith was a member of The Citadel, F-Troop class of 2022. Keith was the embodiment of what it meant to be a Citadel Man and he was taken from us too soon. He will forever be remembered by his classmates, friends, and family for the kind and gentle soul that he was. We ask that the Citadel Family please donate for the funeral and memorial cost that will burden his family in the coming days. All and any donations are welcome and the full amount will go to Keith's family.

After receiving over $10,000 dollars in donations from the Citadel community I am happy to say that the money raised in honor of Keith will go to the Citadel Foundation in order to start a fund and eventually a scholarship in his name. As some of you may know the funeral was paid for in full by an anonymous donor, so after speaking with the family we decided that this was the best course of action. I am working directly with Lauri Lechner at the Citadel Foundation to make sure this happens. Again, thank you so much for the generous donations. You have made this burden a little lighter on the family and friends of Keith Schemm.
