Tax deductible
This Sunday I’ll be running the 15k Hot Chocolate Race in Chicago. I ran this race two years ago and had a lot of fun. This year I have decided to run for a cause that is important to me, especially at this moment.
Please join me in supporting Jewish Voice for Peace, a non-profit that has organized some of the largest rallies for peace in the US, advocating for a ceasefire in Gaza. This piece written by my friend and colleague Raffi Magarik provides a thoughtful discussion of the value of calling for ceasefire and seeking peaceful solutions. I find hope in JVP’s vision for bringing Jews and Palestinians together to build a world where all people live in freedom with justice, equality, and dignity.
Thank you for joining me in this cause!
More information about A JEWISH VOICE FOR PEACE: Jewish Voice for Peace opposes anti-Jewish, anti-Muslim, and anti-Arab bigotry and oppression. JVP seeks an end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem; security and self-determination for Israelis and Palestinians; a just solution for Palestinian refugees based on principles established in international law; an end to violence against civilians; and peace and justice for all peoples of the Middle East.
