The Rich Family suffered a loss when Keith passed away Friday afternoon.

Rich family found out about 5 months ago that their Dad, Papa, Great Grandfather, and Brother Keith had cancer. Last week, Keith had an appointment with a surgeon to see if they were able to go in and remove the tumor. Unfortunately, the tumor was too close to his vital organs and could not be removed. The family was told that he was doing okay and that they were going to do everything they could to keep him comfortable in everyday life. Our family was optimistic that we had another couple of years to make more memories with Keith before we had to start planning our goodbyes.

Friday afternoon, he was rushed to the hospital and 45 minutes later, Keith left this world.

For those of you that knew Keith, he was a loving Dad, Papa, Great Grandpa, Brother, and had one of the biggest hearts for his sports teams. You could always find him cheering on his Boston Bruins, Cleveland Browns, or Baltimore Orioles. If he was not cheering on the professionals, you could find him at a local hockey rink, baseball field, cheer or dance competition cheering on his kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Keith also spent over 45 years volunteering his time within the Spencerport community. Keith served on the board for the Spencerport Jr. Baseball, helped pioneer the startup of the Spencerport High School Ice Hockey and Football Programs, as well as serving several years as the President of the Spencerport Sports Boosters.

This was fast and we as a family were not prepared. This GoFundMe is to help the family with the cost of funeral arrangements. With anything remaining, the family will donate in Keith's name to the Spencerport Sports Boosters.
