Our brother, Keith Pickens, has recently found out he’s in for the battle of his life,…kicking cancer’s ass!  Keith has worked since he was 13 years old and not being able to work and losing that income has been devastating, not to mention the mounting medical bills.

 I feel his story is best told in his own words as taken from his Facebook post last week:

”To all my family and friends, some of you may already know, but on June 1st I got diagnosed with having a tumor in my bladder, since then I have had as of 17th of this month my bladder, prostate and 15 lymph nodes removed, a few days ago the pathology report came back and one of those lymph nodes is cancerous. So iam in for the fight of my life at 55 years young. This shit is a real S O B! It changes your life forever. Do not take life for granted, never go a day without telling your loved ones how much they mean to you ! Friends included you can never say the love word to much. I have much unfinished business here on earth ! Thank GOD FOR THE SUPPORT OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS! Still have years left of watching my sons become men! And thank god for my lovely wife Kim! I start chemo in a few weeks ! Hope to see all of you in future to many good times left to have! I plan on near future on re connecting with old friends let’s add to our great memories!!!!!!!!!”~Keith~
