Hi, my name is Ashlee and I’m hoping you might be able to help my husband Keith. He was diagnosed with Colon Cancer right before Christmas 2023. Yesterday (3/14/24) he had his colorectal surgery to remove a large tumor, because of this surgery he will not be able to work for at least 6 weeks. If he is required to do chemo it may be longer. If you know Keith then you know that it’s almost impossible to get him to stop working. I have been trying to take over what he was doing by working a few jobs promising him that I will take care of everything so he would do the surgery and focus on his health. It’s hard for me to be in both places; at work and taking care of him. We thought this would be an easier transition, and it looks like he will be kept a little longer than expected in the hospital and this adds more time I need to be with him. Between normal bills and the $8,000 in medical bills that are coming in it’s a lot for us to handle right now if I take anymore time off. If you can help we appreciate it, if it will put you in a hard position however please know we understand.
