Keith James’ Celebration of Life&Funeral Expenses

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart, that I announce my father’s unexpected passing. Keith Harvey James passed away on Thursday May 18th after experiencing a medical emergency while driving, which led to his vehicle crashing on 109 in Dover, Massachusetts. Anyone who was fortunate enough to know or befriend my father, not only knew his electric smile & contagious laugh, but that his selflessness knew no limit. From dropping everything at an instants notice, to a comforting conversation or covering a shift for a coworker, there is nothing he wouldn’t do for the ones he loved. Keith was a gentle giant (often referred to as “the Bear ” by his daughters) who prided himself on being part of the solution for homelessness, working closely with those suffering from Alzheimer’s and being somebody his family, friends and patients could always count on. Putting the needs of others ahead of his own, is just the type of person he was! The absence of my father’s authenticity, loyalty, hard work, and dedication will forever be one of this life’s greatest losses. Due to the sudden and unexpected nature of his passing, we were not prepared. Our family is raising money to cover Funeral/Celebration of Life expenses and cremation. Any remains will be donated to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, as my father suffered quietly with Leukemia. I am overwhelmed and overjoyed by all the support shown thus far and cannot thank you all enough for helping our family during this very difficult time.
