On Thanksgiving, Keith Gooch passed away suddenly at the age of 56 leaving behind his wife, son, daughter, and five grandchildren, as well as his mother, three brothers, and three sisters. He was proceeded in death by his father and sister. These are not the only people who will feel the wake left behind because "Gooch" was one of the most memorable people ever!

His smile and laugh and jokes made him the life of a party. And you could always count on him to tell it to you straight. Keith enjoyed the outdoors and got nearly all of his nieces and nephews involved in mudding and two-trekking! He was full of joy and life and loved his family!

Gooch was also well-known as a hardworking man. His hands have touched buildings all over Clare County and his sudden death is particularly hard hitting for his family financially because he did not have life insurance coverage. As Keith Gooch's family makes plans for his funeral service, they are faced with a nearly impossible financial burden at a most difficult time of year. His wife has a fixed income and his two adult children have young families of their own.
