Our sweet neighbor, Mr. Keith Fountain, sustained third degree burns on 28 percent of his body while burning off his garden to prepare for spring planting. He was taken by ambulance to the Sandy Cross Fire Department, where he was then life flighted to Grady Memorial in Atlanta. He has already undergone two surgeries and has more to come in the following weeks, in order to complete skin grafts.

Keith and his son own a small construction company and are some of the hardest workers we know. Due to the nature of his injuries and projected recovery time, Keith will not be able to work for quite some time. On top of that, once the dust settles, they are going to be facing huge medical bills, especially factoring in the helicopter ride to Atlanta.

We want to reach out to our community to ask for donations to go towards the Fountain's medical bills. Once Mr. Keith is back home, Mrs. Pam's sole focus is going to be his ongoing care. We are hoping that if we can raise money to help with bills, it will take some stress off of her so that she can focus on taking care of Mr. Keith in the months to come.
