Friend in need ALERT!!!
So many of you have asked how you can help our dear friend Keith.
Well, this is the time for us to show our love, support, and gratitude for him, so we have created this account.
The only way to describe him is MAGICAL. He embodies it and he inspires it in others. Now Keith needs some of our magic (and prayers and hope) just to survive.
His life is about loyalty- hes been a devoted son, partner, and friend. After working full time since he was a teen, Keith was surprised when work became tough and he was having shortness of breath. He had never been a smoker but was diagnosed with a rare degenerative lunge disease.
Never wanting to draw attention to himself or have any of us worry about him, Keith continued working through the pain showing up everyday with his perfect outfits, always with sparkle and bling. ! Ultimately, it became too debilitating and hard to hide. Doctors told him the only hope was a double-lung transplant, so Keith had the surgery. The surgery, the hospitalizations and the complications have cost more than anyone could have expected.
There have been dozens of surgeries, complications, and procedures since, but Keith remains a positive pillar of strength.
Now, like so many others, he's forced into a dilemma of trying to keep up with all the cost of care, meds, and equipment. He would NEVER ask us for anything, but friends don't wait to be asked, we step up.
Any money we raise will immediately go towards those expenses. Keith has always been there for us- he's always brought the possibility and promise of good things. Now, it's our turn.
