While vacationing with his family in April, Keith Cornell fell which left him paralyzed from the neck down. This unexpected event has changed his life and his family forever. During the past couple of weeks, he has been receiving treatment in Augusta as the family prepares for him to return back home. 

For many years, Keith taught students in Effingham County Schools. His wife, Marsha was also a long time employee along with their daughter, Jennifer who continues to work in the system. This family has always given their time, efforts, and finances to support their church and other causes and organizations such as CURE and Family Promise.
