Keith Collier’s Memorial and funeral

***Funeral service details at bottom of page***

On Monday April 22nd, 2019, Keith Collier, beloved son, brother and father, had a massive heart attack at 49. He was rushed to the hospital and was on full life support for 22 days.  In the days after the attack, Keith went through several open heart surgeries, had multiple infections forcing a medically induced coma while on heart pump, breathing tube, and on dialysis.
While Keith fought a hard battle, he peacefully passed away on May 14th to go home and be with our precious Lord and savior. Keith never met a stranger and would gladly give you the shirt off his back.  He loved his daughter so very much, even though from a distance, his family and friends who were one in the same to him, and the Lord with all his heart. A truly kind and gentle person to his core.
Although Keith was always making others laugh and smiling on the outside he wrestled with the pain of addiction quietly on the inside, which eventually led to the detriment of his health. Most of us are all too familiar with the all encompassing destructive reach of this disease. The taboo associated with talking about it only gives it the opportunity to grow as an epidemic and continue to take the lives of those we know and love. Addiction awareness, prayer and tough love may be the only combination to cure this disease.
We will miss Keith with every ounce of our being, but it is comforting to know he is not struggling with his addiction and is resting easy with Jesus, his mom and nephew Adrian.  Until we meet again, we will make sure to take a dip in the lake or river on a hot day and think of him and his absolutely contagious smile!

The family is not only emotionally, but financially, unprepared for such a sudden loss so any amount donated would be very helpful and a blessing. The purpose of this fund is to provide Keith with a proper burial plot, memorial service, and headstone for his final resting place. Godwillingly and with your help, next to Adrian, his closest nephew and best friend, at Carmen Nelson Bostick cemetary in Tomball, Tx. Thank you for all the great memories, prayers, love, and support getting all of us through this one day at a time.
