Keith and Malisa Morlen medical expense
Donation protected
Hi, my husband Keith Morlen and I both endured surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation therapy last year. Both battling a stage 3 cancer diagnosis. Mine being breast cancer and Keith having tongue cancer.
I was diagnosed December 2021. Soon after my diagnosis I hired Patrick Flanary to work on our house so it would be finished before having chemo. This contractor decided to keep nearly $8,000 of material money and skip off the job. The state of our home was worse after he left. If all were on track we could have sold our house by the time Keith was diagnosed. It happened we were not able to, because of timing of everything going on. We would have been in a better situation.
I have sold a car, guns, jewelry and inherited items from my parents to help support us with living costs until we are both able to work. Keith has sold bikes and tools. We have tried to keep afloat without asking for help.
Many of you have volunteered to helped in many ways and we are both eternally grateful and fully ready to repay the kindness once on our feet.
Two weeks ago I had a hip replaced with diagnosis of avascular necrosis. My chemo worsened the already affected hip. We are currently paying Dr and hospital bills plus every day living costs with zero income, only money going out. Keith is still eating through his tube, but beginning to feel better. We're both on a good healing track but need a little more time.
We have lots going on as many currently do. Any amount is appreciated and will be repayed at a later date. I not excited about asking others for help, but this will greatly improve our situation and keep us on top of the house payment and bills.
Thank you for reading and *thank you* for any donations sent. It will greatly help us.
