On march 25th my family’s life changed suddenly for the worst. Doctors discovered a quite a large lump on my daughter’s throat. After a few test the worst outcome became a reality and at 17 year old my daughter was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. By the time the cancer was discovered it had already spread to the lymph nodes and needed to be removed as soon as possible. I had to stop going to work in order to take my daughter to appointments and help her recover from her surgery. With all the appointments, medications, and the surgery the insurance payments pilled up and with me not working it took a toll on my family financially. Our journey to her recovery is still not over and the payments keep coming but with a little help we can lessen the payload. I hope that with the help of our dear friends and family this can happen.
