On this past Memorial Day, Keirsten Taylor suffered a massive bleed in her brain due to a hemorrhagic stroke, leaving her with paralysis in her left side, hopefully temporary, but with no known recovery timeframe. She’s been a hard worker during her life and is currently working hard with the excellent staff at the acute in-patient rehabilitation facility in Presque Isle to regain use of her left arm and walk again. Some progress has been made, so hope is strong. Keirsten, Stephen, and her son Benjamin are loved by many, and I’ve created this fundraiser as they navigate financial challenges. Funds raised will be used to help with loss of income and out of pocket medical and acute in-patient rehabilitation costs, allowing Keirsten to focus on her recovery without the added stress of financial worries. She has lived a life guided by the principle of paying it forward in whatever capacity God gives us in the moment of another’s need and I hope any who can help Keirsten and her family at this time will do so with the same intention.
