I am raising money for my sister Keira Troxell. Keira is a mobile veterinarian with a thriving practice: St Francis Veterinary Housecalls. She is beloved by her many clients. She lost her house, barn, and other structures in the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA. One of these other structures was a small house on wheels, which she had recently purchased for $20,000, and was renovating to make it habitable for our mother. But it wasn't insured because there isn't a way to insure tiny houses (yet).  Keira is also an artist who lost many pieces of cherished and priceless art in the fire. The value of all that was lost far exceeds the amount she will get from her insurance company for replacement. We are grateful that Keira was able to narrowly escape with her dogs, cats, and horse just before the fire consumed her farm. Others were not as fortunate.  Keira lives a frugal and simple life. Any money donated will be used carefully and wisely by her. Please consider making a donation over the next few months as Keira seeks to rebuild her home and her life, along with so many others,  in her town of Paradise.
