Hi! I'm Carl and I'm raising money for my good friend Keioma so he can pursue his dream of graduating from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, UT. Let me introduce you to him!

I first met Keioma in 2009 when I was living in Guyana (South America) as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I had the privilege of teaching and baptizing him and his amazing family. Through high school, Keioma excelled in school, work and sports. Keioma then served a mission for the LDS church in Louisiana. After completing his mission, he worked as an HR manager for a company in Guyana.

Since Keioma first learned about BYU as a kid, it has been a goal of his to one day be accepted to BYU and pursue a degree in business management. Emily and I helped Keioma move to Utah in 2022 and he has loved living in Salt Lake City, UT while attending Ensign College. He is very charismatic and quickly made friends and joined various school clubs. I've been impressed with his work ethic, communication skills and desire to help others. He earned straight A's during his first year at Ensign College while working part-time. Keioma just found out that he got accepted to BYU. A dream come true! He plans to start taking classes at BYU this spring semester (April 2023).

Here's where I need your help! Keioma is working but is limited to only 20 hours per week. BYU is a relatively affordable university, but will still be a financial stretch for him.

I'm helping him raise money to cover the following:

Keioma's current employment will enable him to cover his rent, utilities, food, etc.

There are so many kind and generous people in the world and I know that we can come together to help Keioma accomplish his dream of graduating from BYU.
