Keiko has always been that big dog trapped in a little dogs body. She is a tough little darling with a big heart. Unfortunately her heart isn’t so strong anymore. Cancer sucks. She was diagnosed with a type of cancer called Hemangiosarcoma on her right atrium of her heart. Sadly it isn’t one of those masses that is easily removed, considering it’s on her heart. She desperately needs chemotherapy and various medications for her upcoming treatment. I would like to keep pushing forward for her life. She has been stabilized consistently after the first day I took her to the hospital. She has made it this far without showing negative signs of declining. I feel that deep inside my soul that she wants to stay longer regardless of her altered life span situation. If she’s still here pushing, then I will still be here by her side pushing with her as much as she can. She has been hospitalized and well stabilized since Monday night. Her hospital stay, stabilization treatment, and diagnosing bills have reached around 8k. The bills will continue to exceed past 8k upon starting her chemotherapy treatment, medications, and routine checkups. She is a part of my family for over 11 years. Any amount of time that we can still cherish with her is very precious to us. I love her to pieces and I would go as far as I can for her.
