#KehlaniStrong✨ Leukemia Recovery ❤️‍

Donation protected

Hello to all!
On behalf of my co-mama Jessica Gomez:

Sunday, October 13th, we received news that sweet two-year-old Kehlani Aahliya was diagnosed with leukemia.
After a doctor's visit last week, it was discovered Kehlani’s iron was low. Due to some side effects from vaccines, she became lethargic. With some other concerning symptoms, Jessica decided to take her to the hospital where it was discovered her platelets were also low (19,000) as well as her hemoglobin (6.3). They then sent her to Valley Children’s where they gave official diagnoses and talked with Jessica about treatment.
Starting with blood transfusions to up her levels, Kehlani has begun her journey to recovery. ❤️‍
As you can imagine the stress this has put on Jessica, her other children, and others in her corner, I ask that you spare that morning coffee to donate towards Kehlani’s medical expenses as we don’t plan/prepare for these things. It would be greatly appreciated by us all. ✨
It is uncertain exactly how long her recovery will be but we hope for a speedy one.
We also ask for support in the form of prayer. Keep this beautiful baby in your prayers, put her at the top of your list. I promise she is worth it! ❤️

✨UPDATE:

Kehlani will be in the hospital for another week to start her recovery journey. Doctors were able to give her a more accurate diagnosis of Precursor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). This is a type of leukemia that occurs when there are too many immature white blood cells in the bone marrow and blood. B-ALL is a hematologic malignancy, which means it's a disease that affects the blood. It's most often diagnosed in children, especially those between the ages of 0 and 4.
The ✨BEST NEWS✨ was B-ALL is the most curable malignancy in children, with a long-term survival rate of almost 90% for newly diagnosed patients
However, the prognosis for adults and children who relapse is poor. So unfortunately we have to keep in mind that this may reoccur in Kehlani’s life.. but for now we are so very thankful there is a treatment available for her.
Kehlani went into surgery today for a meta port and bone marrow pull. We ask for prayers for Jessica and her other children and their family/friends to have relief in there being a cure and find peace that she can and will recover to live a long fulfilled life!

Her recovery is predicted to be at least a two year journey so please continue to pray and share this link to help out with upcoming medical expenses, commute, and other needs while Jessica navigates through this difficult time.
We thank those who have already donated and/or shared Kehlani’s story!

UPDATE #2:
Kehlani has began chemotherapy. It is was a very emotional day Friday as she had a two hour chemo session. Kehlani has keep her spirits up, laughing and smiling and just enjoying life to the fullest despite her current state.
Keep those prayers coming!
We can feel the Lord at work with her ❤️‍
