Memorial Fund for Keffa Yeshua Beckum and Family

There is nobody on Earth quite like, Loren Martin. She has been one of my dearest friends since 7th grade Biology class where we were forced to sit in alphabetical order. Lucky for me there was nobody else between Long and Martin. Little did I know that the goofy girl to my right with big almond shaped eyes, endless energy, and a very similar silly sense of humor would turn out to be one of my lifelong friends. Loren has always been bold, friendly, charismatic, hilarious, and much more outgoing and stylish than I ever was. She is one of those people that understands you on a deep level and just gets you and accepts you no matter how different, strange, or subversive you may be. There is never judgement from Loren, only deep love, caring, support, and genuine understanding.

Loren is a talented artist, trained in Shamanic/Earth Medicine healing, an amateur comedian and entertainer whenever anybody's spirits need lifted, and most importantly always the caretaker and giver in our group of friends. She's always the first to offer you a ride, check on you when she knows you may be going through a hard time, give you a bed to sleep in, and feed you only the most delicious, high quality organic foods. She is not only massively intuitive, knowledgable about all things natural health and healing, and a true empath, but also the person you can count on to easily put together your home entertainment system or Ikea furniture. Loren is always the selfless one to help others in their time of need, but her time of need is now.

Today Loren needs all those favors returned. As many of you all know Loren and her family were expecting the first baby boy in their little blended family this week. Unfortunately all that excitement and happiness of awaiting another bright, sweet spirit to enter this world has turned to a great loss overnight. Baby Keffa Yeshua Beckum was stillborn on Monday night, October 9th at 6:56pm.

On top of this physically and emotionally devastating loss, the Beckum Family is now facing unexpected burial costs along with planned and unplanned absence from work. Anything you can do to help would ease the massive burden their family is facing at this time so they can focus on healing and grieving. Funeral arrangement are being set up for late next week so the Beckum's need your help soon. Please give anything you can as it will go a long way to help ease some of the stress and devastation they are now bravely facing. Funeral arrangements will be announced soon.

Funds raised will be used to support funeral and burial arrangements for Keffa along with supporting the Beckum family with household bills and expenses during this time.

Any remaining funds will be donated/memorialized in Keffa Yeshua’s honor.
