After two years of Covid protocols, Shelter Island students have the opportunity to see the outside world!

In July of 2022, 16 students from the Shelter Island high school will be attending a 10 day trip to Savilla, Spain with the Centro MundoLengua program. During the 10 day stay, the students will live with host families and will attend Spanish school.

Our goal is to raise a portion of the total trip cost so that all 16 students can attend. The Covid pandemic has burdened children of all ages with missing out on many of the day to day actives they had so enjoyed, such as sports, going to the movies, after school activities, sleepovers and family vacations. Now with the world slowly opening again, this once in a lifetime opportunity can change lives! It is important to see the world and learn, let us support this amazing group of scholars on their adventure.

Your donation will go directly to the program cost and round trip airfare. Any donations in excess of the trip cost will be donated to the Shelter Island Education Foundation.
