As the only downtown coffeehouse, tea shop, and independent bookstore in Lombard, our mission from day one has been to create a warm, welcoming community hub where you can discover your next great read, work comfortably, and enjoy a quality craft beverage.

The Goal: Our Official Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting (October 13th)

We are aiming to raise funds to launch our Official Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting on October 13th. This event is designed to aggressively reach local residents, build strong community roots, and pivot from survival mode into steady, sustainable growth.

Immediate Operations & Staffing: Keeping our doors open and funding a trained, sustainable team of 3–4 staff members to deliver fast, friendly service.

Shop Improvements:

Eye-catching window and door display updates so passing neighbors know we're open.

An upgraded, comfortable remote work area.

A cozy, creative space near the parking lot entry.

Dedicated counter displays for our whole-bean coffee and loose-leaf teas.

Marketing & Outreach: Raising awareness across Lombard so everyone knows where to find local coffee, tea, and books.

Long-Term Vision: Building an organized, expanded bookstore selection with vibrant events for book lovers, local writers, board game enthusiasts, and community groups.
