After my wife shot me and by  beating death twice from it, life is now dependant on a wheelchair.
I literally count on wheels for every move from getting to the bathroom to outings for photography to keep my sanity from PTSD.
My wheelchair  has literally fallen in a pile and although it's vital importance was always known, panic didn't set in til this happened. Resorting to scooting around is an awakening.
I live in a rural area which makes it even more vital. Have been rescued by emergecy services 3 times.
Someone has loaned me an old heavy chair that is too small and very difficult to push.
The chair I had will cost about $4500  to replace. One feature may be able to forego. It will require a couple trips to a distant town for physical therapists advice on the latest fitting requirements .
There must be at least 50 options and measurements on the order form list from the maker that is close by.
Income is very limited and my insurance will not cover it.
I have no family and had to relocate after this ordeal and have only met a few friends so far.
Bottom line is I am asking for any help folks are willing to provide. Thank You
