Kim is originally from Nothern Ireland, she came to Canada 2 years ago on a working holiday visa. As a child she would travel here every 2 years or so to spend time with her Aunt and family who live here, this is what encouraged her to take the leap and experience Canada as more than a holiday.
Anyone who knows Kim, knows that since coming to Canada she has built a life here, she has fallen in love with the country and has met so many inspirational people. Being a personal trainer she has helped so many people change their lives and create a brighter future. Her passion as a trainer is what keeps her motivated to keep growing as a person. She puts so much into helping others.
It's now Kim's turn to ask for support to create her ultimate goal in becoming a permanent resident of Canada.
Kim applied to extend her work permit for another 2 years, but was refused. Therefore she can no longer work in Canada. She has 90 days to restore her status in Canada or faces deportation.
She is now in a situation where she has to restore her status and then apply for common-law sponsorship.
This process will take roughly 3-4 months and will be very costly so we are asking for any help we can get to cover the cost of lawyer fees and living with the absence of work. We have already started the process so we need your help as soon as possible.
We will be eternally grateful for any support we can get right now.
